MISSION

The mission of the Amazon Fund foundation is to work with indigenous people in support and development of initiatives committed to the conservation of nature and culture in the Amazon region. Our goal is that the indigenous people will ultimately manage the projects entirely. To carry out our mission, we raise funds and cooperate with indigenous people, organizations, and government entities.

Statutory Objectives
The foundation aims to raise funds to support projects that lead to conservation of rainforest, wetlands, and cultures in the Amazonian region. The foundation also endeavors to initiate its own projects by:

• organizing a community through  a website
• collecting funds and donations
• cooperating with existing projects and organizations
• introducing new initiatives for nature and culture preservation in the Amazon region
• and by undertaking any further action that supports or relates to the aforementioned objectives and does not conflict with the law
